Settling constantly for metaphors for change is beginning making fools of all of us. - If one is serious about egalitarianism, don’t angle to give the monarchy a make-over — abolish it. And if one is serious about antiracism, then one must get involved in the work of building popular power to put an end to the history, institutions and material exploitation that breathe life into racism every day.
